Kwame F. Bell, a Rochester native, holds an Associate Degree from Monroe Community College and a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology and Immunology with a minor in Health Behavior and Society from the University of Rochester. His extensive clinical skills, research experience and commitment to Health and Education are just a few of his contributions to society. Mr. Bell works tirelessly to improve the health outcomes for ‘at-risk’ communities most often targeted by health disparities and violence. He prides himself for his contributions in the fight towards an HIV/AIDS free generation through his involvement with NGOs such as; The MOCHA Center, Trillium Health, Rochester Victory Alliance and national campaigns implemented by the National Minority AIDS Council. Causes Kwame Bell cares about include: civil rights for marginalized groups, medicine, health and wellness, education, research, and the advancement of all people. As a Board Member for Serving People With HIV/AIDS (SPWHA), Mr. Bell is thrilled to continue the much needed work in eradicating HIV and AIDs globally. With partnership, education, access and resilience this can be realized. Mr. Bell strongly believes that “Not everything can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced,” and for this reason (and a host of others) he and his peers continue to face the hardships of today in order to help others bathe in the joys of tomorrow.
